Scrapping my stash

This is my stash. I save even the tiniest scraps in the delusional hope that they’ll be useful in other projects.

After bingeing on the “Scrap Your Stash” Two Peas in a Bucket videos this summer, I finally felt inspired to make something. I used a free Studio Calico art print to create a cut file for the words and word shadow and made some circles and outlines. Then I used the Cameo to cut everything out. The precision and detail of the Cameo never ceases to amaze me. I’m going to mount this piece in a black frame with a large white mat.  IMG_4673

I need to work a little on my gluing skills. In the past, I used spray glue but it irritated my lungs. Now I use the Tombow Mono Multi Pen for really detailed cuts. It works great because the paper doesn’t warp or anything but I’m still learning to control the amount I apply.IMG_4672
